- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables

- Present menus, explain dishes, specials, and promotions clearly

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and punch orders correctly

- Ensure timely and professional service at all times

- Handle guest complaints politely and resolve issues immediately

- Maintain excellent guest relations to ensure repeat business

- Have thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods

- Suggest upselling options (special dishes, beverages, desserts)

- Ensure food is served as per hotel standards and presentation guidelines

- Check food quality before service and report discrepancies

- Guide and support junior waiters, stewards, and trainees





- Allocate duties and ensure smooth coordination during service

- Train current staff on service procedures and grooming standards

- Monitor staff performance and report to the Restaurant Manager

- Attend daily briefings and follow instructions from supervisors

- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and safety regulations

- Assist during banquets, events, and peak operational hours

- Maintain discipline, grooming, and punctuality
