Role Description The Head Operations – Agriculture Drones Spraying will lead and manage day-to-day operations for drone spraying projects across agricultural regions, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant execution. This full-time, on-site role based in Pune City includes planning and scheduling field deployments, coordinating with farmers and clients, and overseeing drone pilots and ground teams. The role involves optimizing workflows, monitoring operational performance, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Operations will collaborate with technical and product teams to improve processes, implement best practices, and support scaling of the DaaS model.

Responsibilities also include reporting key operational metrics, addressing issues in real time, training teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management and leadership abilities to supervise field staff, coordinate cross-functional teams, and build operational capacity.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for working with clients, farmers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and cost-control skills to manage operational expenses and improve efficiency.
- Experience in agriculture operations, drone services, or related field operations is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with UAV regulations, safety protocols, and field deployment practices is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, travel to field locations, and operate in dynamic, outdoor environments.
