About HegeHege is a Himalayan Natural Mineral Water brand built around the belief that great water should be natural, authentic and accessible.
We currently operate across 24 cities, serving approximately 25,000 customers through our own distribution network and third-party logistics partners. Our network includes 28 warehouses and a team of approximately 40 delivery executives and vendor partners.
As we scale aggressively, we are looking for a hands-on and commercially driven Head – Supply Chain & Logistics to take complete ownership of our logistics and operational backbone.
The OpportunityThis is a high-ownership leadership role.
The person will be responsible for the complete flow of the business from inventory and warehousing to transportation, last-mile delivery, customer fulfilment, collections and vendor payments.
You will build systems that allow Hege to scale across cities without compromising service levels, inventory control or profitability.
Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Logistics &
- Distribution
- Own Hege's logistics operations across 24 cities.
- Manage primary, secondary and last-mile distribution.
- Optimise the mix of company-operated and third-party vehicles.
- Plan routes, delivery schedules and vehicle utilisation.
- Drive improvement in delivery productivity and logistics cost.
- Ensure high OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance.
- Develop scalable distribution models for new cities.
2. Warehouse & • Inventory Management
- Take complete ownership of 28 warehouses across India.
- Establish city-wise inventory norms and replenishment systems.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and minimise stock-outs.
- Control damages, leakage, ageing and operational losses.
- Improve inventory turns and working-capital efficiency.
- Establish robust processes for inward, storage, dispatch and reconciliation.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of returnable cans/jars, including recovery, reconciliation and redeployment.

Fulfilment &
• Service
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery to our ~25,000 customers.
- Own delivery-related customer complaints and escalations.
- Improve delivery reliability and customer experience.
- Track missed deliveries, failed deliveries,
replacements and returns.
- Build processes that support high-frequency and recurring customer orders.
4. Team & • Vendor Management
- Lead and develop our delivery and warehouse teams.
- Manage approximately 40 delivery executives along with logistics partners and vendors.
- Set productivity benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Recruit, train and retain high-quality operational talent.
- Build city/cluster-level ownership as the network scales.
- Establish clear SLAs and performance reviews for logistics vendors.
5. Receivables & • Collections
- Take ownership of operational receivables and collections.
- Monitor city-wise and customer-wise outstanding amounts.
- Track ageing and ensure timely collections.
- Work closely with Sales and Finance to improve DSO and cash conversion.
- Establish disciplined processes for COD, digital payments and account reconciliation.
- Escalate and resolve overdue accounts.
6. Payables & • Vendor Commercials
- Own logistics-related vendor payables and reconciliation.
- Verify invoices against actual trips, deliveries, kilometres and agreed rates.
- Negotiate transportation, warehousing and manpower contracts.
- Develop vendor SLAs and commercial benchmarks.
- Identify and eliminate billing leakages and unnecessary logistics costs.
7. MIS, Technology & • Operational Excellence
- Build a strong daily/weekly logistics MIS.
- Track KPIs across inventory, warehouses, fleet, delivery, collections and costs.
- Use data to identify operational inefficiencies and improve decision-making.
- Drive adoption of technology for route planning, inventory tracking, delivery management and reconciliation.
- Build SOPs and scalable processes across all cities.

What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a strong operator, not just a logistics manager. The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or distribution operations.
- Proven experience managing bulk/high-frequency distribution.
- Experience managing multi-city operations and distributed warehouses.
- Experience handling both own fleet and third-party logistics providers.
- Solid exposure to FMCG, beverages, packaged water, dairy, consumer products, 3PL or similar industries.
- Experience managing large customer/service networks.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and working capital.
- Experience with vendor negotiations and commercial management.
- Exposure to receivables/collections and operational reconciliation.
- Strong people-management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively across cities.
