Role Description The Head of Finance and Accounting is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for leading all financial and accounting functions of Curo India Private Limited. This role includes managing the preparation and review of financial statements, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with applicable standards and regulations. The individual will develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Day-to-day tasks include supervising the finance and accounting team, maintaining internal controls, coordinating audits and compliance activities, managing cash flow,



and partnering with senior leadership on financial policies, risk management, and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in leading finance and accounting functions and supporting strategic decision-making.

- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and ensuring accurate Financial Reporting in line with relevant standards.

- Demonstrated experience in Budgeting, including forecasting, monitoring variances, and managing cost controls.

- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.

- Qualified qualifications such as CA, CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent, with several years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting.

- Solid understanding of taxation, regulatory compliance, and internal controls within the Indian business environment.

- Experience in managing and mentoring finance teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in financial and accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel;

experience with process improvement and automation is an advantage.
