Role Description The Head of Finance Department is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvarur, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Vamsha Retail Ventures Private Limited. This role includes supervising the preparation and analysis of financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership. The Head of Finance will monitor cash flow, control costs, and support strategic decisions with data-driven financial insights.

Daily responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, leading and mentoring the finance team,



coordinating with internal and external auditors, and implementing systems and controls that support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to apply these skills to a multi-location retail environment.
- Candidates should possess experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess solid Budgeting and forecasting skills to manage annual budgets and monitor performance against targets.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.
- Professional qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Relevant experience leading a finance function, ideally in retail, textiles, or a comparable industry.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lead teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and commitment to ethical financial practices.
