Job Title : Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Developer

Job Type : Full-Time/Contract

Experience : 5-9 Years

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana

Responsibilities

- 5 9 years of overall software development experience, with at least 4+ years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.
- Strong experience in Guidewire Rating and Product Model.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Rating Engine, rate books, modifiers, and pricing logic.
- Strong Gosu programming skills with working knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio and PolicyCenter configuration best practices.
- Solid understanding of P&C; insurance and insurance policy/rating processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, defect troubleshooting, and production support.
- Good understanding of insurance rating principles and ability to work effectively with actuaries.




- Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration or Rating certification.
- Design and implement rating logic using Guidewire Rating Engine, Product Model, and APD.
- Develop and maintain rate books, modifiers, pricing algorithms, and rating configurations in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Translate business and actuarial rating requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire configurations using Gosu and Guidewire Studio.
- Analyze and troubleshoot rating discrepancies, calculation issues, configuration defects, and performance problems.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
- Follow Guidewire configuration best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and documentation requirements.
- Support production deployments, rating changes, post-release validation, and production issue resolution.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
