Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced GCP Architect to design and implement end-to-end Google Cloud Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP architectural concepts, automation, cost optimization, and up-to-date cloud practices. This role requires strong technical leadership and hands-on experience in driving cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

- Design highly available, scalable, and secure architectures using GCP services.
- Architect networking solutions including VPC design, subnets, firewall rules, and interconnects.
- Implement identity and access management strategies using IAM roles, policies, and service accounts.
- Design secure architectures leveraging GCP Security Command Center, Cloud KMS, and encryption best practices.
- Architect storage solutions using Cloud Storage, Persistent Disks, Filestore, and lifecycle policies.
- Design compute strategies using Compute Engine, Managed Instance Groups, and Load Balancers.
- Architect serverless solutions using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Event-driven architectures.
- Design containerized workloads using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Anthos.




- Architect database solutions using Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Firestore, and implement backup/restore strategies.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Trace.
- Design disaster recovery and backup strategies across multiple regions and zones.

Automation & Optimization

- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Deployment Manager or Terraform.
- Implement cost optimization strategies using GCP Cost Management tools, Billing Reports, and committed use discounts.
- Automate deployments and operational tasks using Cloud Build, Cloud Scheduler, and scripting.

DevOps & CI/CD

- Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Implement blue/green and canary deployments for application releases.

Migration & Modernization

- Lead migration of on-premises workloads to GCP using Migrate for Compute Engine and Database Migration Service.
- Modernize legacy applications using microservices architecture and cloud-native services.

Governance & Compliance

- Define governance frameworks for resource tagging, cost control, and compliance.
- Implement Organization Policies and IAM best practices for security and standardization.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of GCP services and architectural patterns.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing GCP solutions at scale.
