Role Description The Gold Loan Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chachora. This role involves interacting with customers to explain gold loan products, assessing customer eligibility, and verifying documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Gold Loan

Officer will evaluate and appraise gold ornaments, maintain accurate records of loans and repayments, and ensure timely disbursement and collection. Daily responsibilities also include managing branch operations related to gold loans, handling customer queries and concerns, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance, safety, and smooth processing.



The role requires a focus on customer service, operational accuracy, and adherence to security protocols for handling gold assets.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic knowledge of banking or financial services, including loan processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance, preferably in gold loan operations.
- Attention to detail and numerical ability for accurate appraisal, record-keeping, and monitoring of loan accounts and repayments.
- Proficiency in using computers and basic office software for data entry, reporting, and maintaining digital records.
- Ability to work in office in Chachora, manage branch-level responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Prior experience in gold loans, microfinance, NBFCs, or banking will be an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: Higher secondary (12th pass) or graduate degree in any discipline; additional training in finance or banking is preferred.
- High ethical standards, reliability, and a commitment to following company policies and safety procedures for handling gold assets.
