Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gold Loan Officer role based in Ujjain.

The Gold Loan

Officer will be responsible for interacting with customers, explaining gold loan products, and guiding them through the application and approval process. Daily tasks include assessing gold ornaments for purity and value as per company guidelines, completing documentation, verifying KYC, and ensuring accurate data entry into internal systems.



The role involves managing disbursements and repayments, monitoring overdue accounts, and supporting branch-level business targets while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies.

The Gold Loan

Officer will also contribute to customer retention and local marketing activities to grow the gold loan portfolio in the region.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic financial understanding and numerical aptitude, including handling cash, calculating interest, and maintaining accurate records.
- Attention to detail and integrity in handling gold valuation, documentation, KYC verification, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in using computers and branch-level banking or NBFC software; familiarity with MS Office tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with branch staff.
- Prior experience in gold loans, retail lending, or NBFC/banking operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; higher qualifications in finance, commerce, or business are an advantage.
- Working knowledge of local language and culture in Ujjain and surrounding areas to engage effectively with customers.
