Role Description The General Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care to patients, including pre-operative assessment, operative procedures, and post-operative management, in alignment with Accord’s clinical protocols and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests, planning and performing general surgical interventions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring thorough documentation in medical records.

The role involves collaboration with other specialties, participation in clinical meetings, adherence to infection control and safety guidelines,



and contribution to continuous quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, in office role based at Accord Superspeciality Hospital in Faridabad, requiring flexibility for scheduled surgeries, emergency cases, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine, with demonstrated expertise in General Surgery and comprehensive patient management.
- Ability to collaborate with and coordinate care involving related surgical specialties such as Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery when clinically relevant.
- Awareness of and ability to interface with other disciplines, including Ophthalmology, to support multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS, DNB, or equivalent), with valid medical registration.
- Proven experience performing a broad range of general surgical procedures in a hospital setting, including emergency and elective surgeries.
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and adherence to evidence-based practices and patient safety standards.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and clinical teams, with a patient-centered and ethical approach to care.
- Willingness to work in a technology-enabled, AI-augmented environment and engage in continuous learning and professional development.
