We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Middleware / DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GCP, GKE, Anthos, Apigee, Kubernetes, API Management, DevOps, Monitoring and ITIL-based production support.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, supporting and continuously improving enterprise middleware and API platforms hosted on Google Cloud. The role involves both 24x7 production support and project delivery, working closely with Architects, Developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, deploy and support GCP middleware and API platforms.
- Administer and support Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Anthos and Kubernetes environments.
- Design, develop and manage Apigee APIs, API products, security policies, traffic management and analytics.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, RCA and problem resolution for production issues.
- Monitor platform availability, performance, capacity and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation and DevOps practices.
- Work with Helm, Git-based deployments and Infrastructure as Code.
- Support cloud migration, modernization and middleware transformation initiatives.
- Implement monitoring, alerting and observability using Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Perform application troubleshooting, performance analysis and data validation using SQL.
- Work with Oracle, SQL Server and MariaDB databases.
- Support REST APIs, JSON, XML, SSL/TLS, microservices and event-driven integrations.
- Participate in design reviews, POCs, testing and production readiness activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge articles.
- Work within ITIL processes, managing Incidents, Problems, Changes, Releases and Service Requests.




- Participate in 24x7 on-call support and provide out-of-hours implementation support when required.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, reliability and SRE practices.

Required Experience

- 5–7 years of experience in enterprise middleware, cloud engineering or DevOps environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP, GKE/Anthos, Apigee and Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting large-scale production middleware/API platforms.
- Experience in enterprise application integration and API platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Robust stakeholder communication and technical coordination skills.
- Ability to lead technical investigations and mentor junior engineers.
- Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in GCP + GKE + Anthos + Apigee + Kubernetes + Dynatrace + Splunk + SQL/Oracle and strong enterprise production support experience will be preferred. Skills: anthos,apigee,gcp,sql,kubernetes,splunk
