EverPay Technologies is building a digital payments platform focused on making payments and everyday financial services more accessible across African markets.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our remote engineering team and contribute to an existing fintech platform as it moves through testing, production readiness and continued development.
You will work alongside our backend and mobile engineers to build customer-facing and internal applications and integrate them with EverPay’s backend services.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications and internal dashboards.
Build responsive, reliable frontend interfaces.
Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
Contribute to backend services where required.
Build administrative and operational tools.
Implement authentication and authorization flows.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
Write clean, maintainable and documented code.
Participate in pull-request reviews.
Write and maintain automated tests.
Work within Git/GitHub development workflows.
Collaborate with backend and mobile engineers.
Follow EverPay’s secure-development and access-control requirements.
Must Have
3+ years of professional software-development experience.
Solid JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Next.js.
Backend/API development experience.
Experience integrating REST APIs.
Experience with relational databases.
Git/GitHub experience.
Understanding of authentication and authorization.
Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
Strong written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Contract
This is a remote contractor position based in India.
The initial engagement is approximately six months, with the opportunity for long-term extension based on performance and business needs.
- Candidates should be comfortable working within structured code-review, security and access-control processes.
