Key Skills

- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience, with primary strength in front-end development.
- Strong understanding of up-to-date UI development, reusable components, state management, and responsive web applications.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and backend services.
- Backend development experience using Java or Scala.
- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or large-scale data platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, high-quality web applications with a strong focus on the front end.
- Build reusable React components and intuitive user experiences.
- Develop and integrate backend APIs and services using Java or Scala.
- Work closely with US-based engineering, product, and data teams.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
