About the Role

You will own experiences used by thousands of merchants every day, from merchant dashboards and analytics to customer portals and product widgets. You will:

- Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance UI components across Recurpay product and Shopify widgets.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ideas and wireframes into smooth, production-ready features.
- Challenge requirements instead of blindly implementing them.
- Integrate with backend APIs and ensure efficient data flows.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
- Create reusable systems, not one-off solutions. Obsess over performance, edge cases, and delightful UX.
- Push the team forward through better engineering practices and thoughtful reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

- Strong understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, React, HTML and CSS is a must.
- 5 years of experience in SaaS, building contemporary frontend applications.
- Ability to consume and work with APIs efficiently.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templates and Storefront APIs.
- Understanding of browser performance and responsive design.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
