Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.

The Freight

Broker will coordinate and manage freight shipments between shippers and carriers, ensuring timely, cost-effective transportation solutions.

Responsibilities include sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, and monitoring shipments to resolve delays or issues. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers, tracking market trends and freight rates, and collaborating with internal logistics and operations teams to optimize routes and service levels.

The Freight

Broker will also handle daily communication, status updates, and problem-solving to maintain high customer satisfaction and service reliability.

Qualifications





- Experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, or transportation management, with strong understanding of shipping processes and terminology.
- Skills in negotiation, relationship management, and customer service to effectively work with shippers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze pricing, routes, and market conditions, using basic data and tools to make cost-productive and timely shipping decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Comfort with using logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and standard office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to unexpected delays, disruptions, or customer requests.
- Prior experience in international or domestic freight, trucking, ocean, or air cargo is preferred but not mandatory.
- Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
