About the Role

YChat is looking for a highly driven Founder's Associate – Sales & Growth to work directly with the Founder and help turn strategy into user growth, partnerships, and execution.

At YChat, we are building a platform that makes it easier for people to connect, hang out, and do things together online.

The Founder is focused on product development and company strategy. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of growth, app promotion, partnerships, strategic initiatives, and execution.

This is not a traditional assistant role. We are looking for someone who thinks beyond assigned tasks, takes ownership of important problems, and wants to help build YChat from the ground up.

What You'll Work On

- Drive YChat app downloads, user acquisition, and engagement.
- Develop and execute app promotion and growth strategies.
- Build community-led growth, referral, and ambassador programs.
- Explore partnerships with colleges, student communities, organizations, and other relevant groups.
- Identify and test new user acquisition channels and growth opportunities.
- Research users, competitors, trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Work directly with the Founder on high-priority strategic initiatives.




- Turn ideas and discussions into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Track growth initiatives, results, and key learnings.

Who We're Looking For

- 3–4 years of experience, preferably in a startup, growth, strategy, business development, community, or Founder's Office role.
- Strong ownership mindset—you don't wait to be told every next step.
- Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Comfortable working in a quick-moving and ambiguous startup environment.
- Curious, resourceful, energetic, and execution-focused.
- Strong interest in consumer technology, startups, and growth.
