What Codelash is

We're a boutique advisory and execution practice for Indian SMEs in manufacturing, trading, and export. We diagnose the operational problem first, then build the fix — advice you can actually run. We're early, small, and building the thing from zero.

What this role is

This is a 0-to-1 seat next to the founders. You won't be handed a lane and told to stay in it. On any given week you might be on a discovery call in the morning, pulling apart a client's sales funnel by afternoon, and sitting across the table from a business owner the next day.

The job is to do the work that needs doing — including the parts nobody's figured out yet.

What you'll actually do

- Take and make calls — including cold ones — and run discovery conversations with prospects
- Sit in on (and eventually lead) client discovery, both remote and in person
- Evaluate funnels, campaigns, and pipelines, and flag what's leaking
- Turn messy notes and calls into clean summaries the founders can act on
- Run small experiments end to end, and own the outcome whether it works or not

Who we're looking for
- High energy, and comfortable operating without a rulebook
- Bias to execute — you'd rather ship a rough first version than wait for the perfect one
- Genuine hunger to learn; you ask questions and chase down what you don't know
- Not rattled when things get hard or an experiment fails — you treat it as data, not defeat
- Clear, direct communicator, on a call and on paper
- Comfortable with business owners and factory-floor reality, not just slides

Nice to have (not required)
- Any exposure to SME businesses, sales, or operations
- Basic comfort with spreadsheets, funnels, or simple tooling
- Hindi and English, both fluent
