Wisemonk is an Employer of Record and global hiring platform for companies building teams in India. Our clients are mostly US-headquartered — they want to hire engineers, designers, and operators here without setting up an entity. We handle employment contracts, payroll, statutory compliance, equipment, and everything else that usually makes hiring in a new country slow. More than 300 companies work with us today.

We are a small team in Bengaluru selling into North America. That means the pipeline has to be built deliberately, and it has to be built by people who understand the buyer well enough to write to them.

The role

This role sits in the founder's office and owns outbound. You decide who we go after, you write the messaging, you build the systems that run the campaigns, and you carry the number that comes out the other end.

You will work directly with the founder on where the pipeline should come from next, and with sales, marketing, and product on making sure that pipeline converts. The work is a mix of judgment (which segments, which message, which trigger) and building (lists, enrichment, sequences, integrations, dashboards). Most weeks involve both.

What you'll do

- Own outbound end to end. Build target lists, write and test sequences across email and LinkedIn, manage deliverability and domain health, run the follow-up, and report honestly on what worked and what didn't.
- Define and sharpen our ICPs. Look at who closes, who churns, and who never replies. Turn that into segment definitions specific enough to act on — company stage, hiring signal, geography, role type — and revise them as the data comes in.
- Build the GTM stack. Wire tools together through APIs, write scripts to enrich and clean data, set up LLM-based workflows for research and personalisation at volume,



and keep the CRM in a state people can trust. You should be able to build most of this yourself rather than filing a ticket and waiting.
- Work with sales. Sit close to the AEs on what a valuable handoff looks like, join calls to hear objections first-hand, and feed that back into the messaging.
- Work with marketing. Make sure outbound and inbound are aiming at the same segments and saying compatible things, and use content the marketing team produces as fuel for campaigns.
- Work with product. Bring back what prospects ask for, what they compare us to, and where we lose — in enough detail to be useful.
- Own the numbers. Reply rates, meetings booked, meetings held, pipeline generated, and cost per meeting. Know them without being asked.

What we're looking for

- 2–3 years in a GTM, sales development, growth, or marketing role, ideally with real ownership of outbound rather than a slice of it.
- Genuine comfort with tech. You can read API docs, write Python or JavaScript well enough to move data between systems, query a database, and debug your own automations. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should not be blocked by anything technical for long.
- Strong written English. Outbound is writing. You should be able to draft a cold email that a busy US founder or HR leader would actually finish reading.
- Self-direction. This is a role where nobody hands you a weekly plan. You should be comfortable deciding what matters this week and defending that call.
- A willingness to do the unglamorous parts — cleaning lists, checking deliverability, chasing down why a webhook stopped firing.

Helpful, not required:

- Prior experience on the sales or marketing team of a fast-moving SaaS or AI startup
- Experience selling or marketing to a US audience
- Hands-on with tools like Clay, Apollo, Instantly, HubSpot, n8n or Zapier, and OpenAI or Anthropic APIs
- Some exposure to HR tech, payroll, or global employment
