Role Description The Fire Fighting Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves designing fire detection and suppression systems such as foam, hydrant, sprinkler, spray, gas suppression, and related safety infrastructure for industrial, commercial, and high‑hazard projects.

The engineer will prepare detailed design calculations, technical drawings, and system layouts using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.



Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, site engineers, and clients, reviewing and optimizing designs, supporting installation teams with technical queries, and participating in safety and quality reviews. The role also includes documentation of design reports, bills of quantities, and as‑built drawings, as well as contributing to continuous improvement of design practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with experience in fire protection or building services design.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering knowledge relevant to piping, fluid dynamics, and fire suppression systems.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating detailed 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering understanding for integration of fire detection, alarm, and control systems.
