About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Engineer with solid expertise in high-rise and superstructure building projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising finishing activities while ensuring quality, timely execution, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and monitor all finishing activities at the project site.
- Execute and coordinate plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors & windows, façade, masonry, and other finishing works.
- Ensure finishing works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, Site Engineers, Architects, Consultants, and Project Managers.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure finishing activities are completed as per project schedules.
- Inspect workmanship and ensure proper quality control at every stage of finishing.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies or site-related issues before execution.
- Prepare and maintain work schedules, material requirements, and daily progress reports.




- Monitor material consumption and ensure optimum utilization with minimum wastage.
- Coordinate finishing activities with MEP, structural, and other services to avoid clashes and rework.
- Conduct inspections and ensure timely rectification of snags and defects.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to project safety requirements.
- Manage multiple finishing activities simultaneously and ensure timely handover of completed areas.

Required skills & Experience

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in building construction.
- Must have specialized experience in high-rise and superstructure building projects.
- Strong knowledge of building finishing works and construction methodologies.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQ, and quality standards.
- Strong subcontractor, labour, and site coordination skills.
- Good communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates with experience in large-scale commercial, residential, institutional, or high-rise projects will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have independently handled finishing works for high-rise / superstructure buildings and have strong exposure to execution, quality control, subcontractor management, and project coordination will be highly preferred.
