Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Service Technician role based in Manjeri.

The Field Service

Technician will install, test, and maintain solar energy systems and related equipment at customer locations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing repairs, conducting routine preventative maintenance, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves documenting service activities, providing explicit guidance to customers on system use and basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with internal teams to report issues and support continuous improvement. The technician will also follow safety procedures, adhere to quality standards,



and support site surveys and commissioning activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Technical skills in electrical or electronics systems, with the ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair solar equipment and inverters.
- Practical experience working with tools, wiring, and test instruments, and familiarity with basic mechanical and structural considerations for solar installations.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices related to electrical work, rooftop or field installations, and use of personal protective equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings, and to complete accurate service reports.
- Comfort with on-site work, including travel within the region, working at heights or outdoor environments, and managing time independently.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, renewable energy, or a related field; prior experience in solar or power systems is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and use of service applications; willingness to learn new technologies and follow standard operating procedures.
