Role Description The Film Video Editor will work on-site in the Pune Division on a contract basis, collaborating with directors, producers, and other post-production team members to assemble raw footage into polished, compelling content. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and reviewing footage, cutting and arranging scenes, applying transitions and effects, and ensuring continuity and narrative flow. The role also involves synchronizing audio, performing basic sound adjustments, and coordinating with color grading and sound teams to maintain visual and audio consistency across formats for theatres, OTT, and TV.

Editor will adhere to project timelines, follow creative briefs, and implement feedback from stakeholders to deliver final master files aligned with technical and artistic requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Film Production.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Video editing.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Video Color Grading and understanding of visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (specifically DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with various video formats and codecs.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and adherence to deadlines in a rapid-paced production environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with creative and technical teams on-site.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in video editing for theatrical, OTT, or TV content.
