We are looking for an experienced Fabric QC Head with a strong background in the textile industry. The role will be responsible for managing quality control activities for fabrics, ensuring finished fabrics meet defined quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the fabric quality control team and day-to-day QC activities.
- Inspect and monitor finished and processed fabrics for quality, appearance, shade, construction and workmanship.
- Establish and maintain fabric inspection and quality control procedures.
- Identify fabric defects and ensure proper classification, reporting and corrective action.
- Monitor quality at different stages including finishing and final inspection.
- Review inspection reports and analyze recurring quality issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Finishing, Dyeing and other relevant teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure finished fabric is released only after meeting approved quality standards.
- Handle customer quality requirements, specifications and inspection standards.
- Maintain QC records, reports and quality-related documentation.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce rejection, rework and quality complaints.
- Train and guide QC inspectors regarding fabric inspection standards and defect identification.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Textile / Fabric Quality Control.
- Strong hands-on experience in finished fabric inspection and quality management is required.
- Candidates should have a solid Textile / Fabric Manufacturing background.
- Practical knowledge of fabric defects, inspection procedures, shade variation, finishing-related issues and fabric workmanship.
- Experience handling QC teams and coordinating with production/finishing departments.
- Good understanding of customer quality specifications and inspection requirements.
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience Experience in a textile manufacturing setup involving finished/processed fabric quality control, final inspection and dispatch quality clearance will be preferred.
