Role Description The Facade Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves designing building facades, including cladding and glazing systems, in alignment with architectural concepts, structural requirements, and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating facade details with project stakeholders, and ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.

The Facade

Designer will collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues, optimize material selection,



and support the execution of facade works. The role also includes maintaining documentation, meeting project timelines, and contributing to quality and safety standards throughout the design process.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in facade and facade design, with a robust understanding of building envelope performance and aesthetics.
- Experience in cladding and glazing systems, including material selection, detailing, and installation principles.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, and revise shop drawings and technical documentation.
- Relevant educational background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong skills in CAD or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with facade analysis software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices for facades.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
