Urgent opening for Executive / Sr.Executive Topical Product Development

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and optimize Topical formulations including creams, ointments, gels, lotions, solutions, sprays and Softgel capsule etc.
- Conduct reverse engineering and characterization of Reference Listed Drugs (RLD) to develop robust generic formulation.
- Perform pre-formulation studies, including drug-excipient compatibility testing and material characterization.
- Select functional excipients intentionally balancing chemical stability, tissue penetration enhancers, rheology modifiers, and patient compliance (sensory elegance).
- Execute laboratory-scale batches and establish critical process parameters (CPPs) for manufacturing. Formulation Development with application of QbD principles.




- Drive process scale-up by conducting pilot trials and commercial registration batches at manufacturing facilities in Goa.
- Experience in in-vitro release testing (IVRT) and in-vitro skin penetration testing (IVPT).
- Establish Q1 (qualitative), Q2 (quantitative), and Q3 (microstructural) sameness parameters for generic topical filings.
- Technical documentation, including MFC, PDR for product submission.
- Knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines

Education

- Masters Degree (M.Pharm)
- Minimum of 37 years of direct experience in pharmaceutical product formulation, specifically focused on topical or semi-solid products and Softgel.
