Role Description The Event Manager at Chrysalis High is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing school events, including cultural programs, academic functions, parent engagements, and student activities. This role involves coordinating with school leadership, teachers, operations staff, and external vendors to ensure events run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
The Event
Manager will manage event calendars, budgets, logistics, communications, and post-event evaluations, while maintaining alignment with the school’s values and child-centric ethos. The position also requires hands-on oversight during events,
including onsite setup, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in event planning, event coordination, and in office event management.
- Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder management, vendor management, and relationship-building with parents and staff.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, presentation, and documentation for event-related materials.
- Candidates should possess skills in time management, multitasking, and organizing multiple events across an academic calendar.
- Candidates should possess skills in budget handling, basic reporting, and resource allocation for events.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in school events, education sector activities, or child-focused programs.
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in event management, hospitality, communications, or education is an advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site, including occasional extended hours during peak event periods, while maintaining a positive, student-centered attitude.
