Position: Estimation Engineer – Fire & Security Systems

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with hands-on knowledge of Fire & security products and good proficiency in AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project estimates, BOQs, quotations, technical documentation, and coordinating with the sales and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQs, material take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations for Fire & Security projects.
- Have positive working knowledge of Fire & Security products and solutions.
- Understand project requirements, tender documents, specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
- Review AutoCAD drawings and prepare/update layouts as required.
- Prepare system-wise BOMs based on project requirements and approved designs.
- Perform quantity calculations and ensure accurate selection of equipment and accessories.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Project, Procurement, and OEM teams for technical and commercial requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate OEM/vendor pricing and prepare competitive commercial offers.
- Ensure proper consideration of installation, commissioning, accessories, cabling, and other project-related requirements while preparing estimates.
- Support the sales team with technical clarifications and product selection.
- Maintain estimation records, quotation history, and project-wise costing.




- Review customer/consultant requirements and identify deviations or exclusions in the scope.
- Assist in preparing technical submittals, compliance statements, and tender documentation when required.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of Fire & Security products, preferably including:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Voice Evacuation / PA Systems
- CCTV / Video Surveillance
- Access Control
- Intrusion Detection
- Security Management Systems
- Other ELV / Security solutions
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D for reading and modifying Fire & Security system drawings.
- Ability to understand & prepare Schematic Diagrams, Floor Plans, Riser Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and System Architecture.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, and quotation preparation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and tender documents.

Qualification

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Fire & Security / ELV estimation and engineering.
- Experience with Honeywell Enterprise products will be strongly preferred.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
