We are seeking a highly motivated ERP Finance Functional Consultant who is passionate about solving business problems, supporting global clients, and driving process excellence through technology.

Role Overview

As an ERP Finance Functional Consultant, you will work closely with clients to support, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Yardi. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, resolving functional issues, supporting finance operations, and delivering solutions that improve efficiency and financial visibility.

The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of finance processes, ERP systems, and client-facing consulting experience.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Functional Support

- Provide day-to-day functional support for ERP Finance applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported issues.
- Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests.
- Ensure timely resolution of support tickets while adhering to defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive solutions.

Finance Process Expertise

Support and advise clients on:

- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Fixed Assets
- Cash & Bank Management
- Financial Reporting
- Period-End and Year-End Close Processes
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Intercompany Transactions
- Tax and Compliance Processes

Configuration & Administration

- Configure finance workflows and approval hierarchies.
- Support chart of accounts setup and maintenance.
- Configure financial controls and business rules.
- Assist with ERP module setup, enhancements, and optimization.
- Support security roles and user access management.





Integration Support

- Work with technical teams to support integrations between ERP and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot data flow issues between systems.
- Assist in integration testing and validation.
- Ensure data consistency across platforms.

Client Consulting & Advisory

- Understand client business requirements and translate them into ERP solutions.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and solution discussions.
- Recommend best practices for finance operations and ERP utilization.
- Provide process improvement and automation recommendations.

Reporting & Analytics

- Support standard and custom financial reports.
- Assist users in report generation and data analysis.
- Validate financial data and reporting accuracy.
- Work with BI and reporting tools where applicable.

Documentation & Training

- Develop SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct end-user training sessions.
- Create functional specifications and test scenarios.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

- 3 to 6 years of ERP Finance consulting or support experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Financial Accounting
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Experience supporting finance business users and stakeholders.

ERP Experience

Experience with one or more ERP platforms such as:

- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- Oracle Financials
- Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
- Infor ERP
- Yardi Voyager (Preferred)

Support Experience

- Experience working in helpdesk or managed services environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support models.




- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client requests effectively.

Technical Awareness

- Understanding of ERP integrations and APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
- Exposure to reporting and BI tools.
- Understanding of data migration and system interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting global clients across multiple geographies.
- Exposure to ERP implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
- Experience with workflow automation and approval frameworks.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting platforms.
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountants, CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, M.Com, or equivalent are advantageous.
