The Ro le We’re seeking a Senior ERP Systems Engineer (IBM i) to join ou r Applications Support practi ce, embedded onsite with one of our key enterprise clients in th e manufacturing and distribution sect or in Melbourn e. This is a hands-on senior ro le focused on th e support, stabilisation, and ongoing operation of legacy ERP platfor ms running o n IBM i / AS4 00, includin g BPCS, ASW, and I B

What You’ll Be Doi ng ERP Application Support &

- Operatio ns Provide senior-level support acros s BPCS, ASW, and I BS environmen ts Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across applications, integrations, and batch process es Own BAU operations, system health monitoring, and batch job oversig ht Act as a senior escalation point for critical and recurring inciden ts Integration &
- Interface Suppo rt Support integrations vi a IBS Integrat or and custom IBM i interfac es Analyse and resolve interface failures and data inconsistenci es Improve stability and reliability of the integration lay er Incident, Problem &
- Change Manageme nt Lead root cause analysis and post-incident revie ws Identify recurring issues and contribute to preventative problem manageme nt Support safe, controlled change implementation including testing and deployme nt Documentation &
- Knowledge Captu re Document system architecture, custom modules, integrations, and batch process es Create and maintain run-books, diagnostic guides, and support documentati on Reduce reliance on individual SMEs through structured knowledge captu re Collaboration &

00 Strong hands-on experience wit h: BPCS 6

BSIBS Integrat or or similar IBM i integration tooli ng Advanced skills i n RPG (RPG III / RPGLE / ILE), CL, and DB2/4
