15+ years of experience in enterprise Microsoft infrastructure and technology environments, with proven technical leadership across infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, Microsoft 365/Exchange, PKI/certificate management, and automation.

Role Purpose
For our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to own technical delivery of the Infrastructure Resilience initiative, part of a wider Workplace Modernisation Program. The initiative covers disaster recovery, cloud mailbox migration, certificate/PKI management, and DevOps automation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Infrastructure Project Lead, workstream specialists, and the Enterprise Architecture and Security & Compliance teams to ensure consistent, well-integrated technical delivery across all workstreams.
Key Responsibilities




Own technical architecture and design decisions across all Infrastructure Resilience workstreams (Disaster Recovery, Cloud Migration, Hardware & Appliance Protection, DevOps Implementation, Certificate Management).
Provide hands-on technical direction to workstream specialists (DR Architect, Cloud Migration Engineer, PKI/HSM Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer) and internal support staff.
Own technical risk and dependency management across the initiative.
Validate technical exit criteria at each workstream's Discovery, Pilot and Harden phase gates.
Ensure DR and certificate/PKI changes meet audit-ready documentation and security/compliance sign-off standards.
Act as the primary technical escalation point to the Enterprise Architect and Security & Compliance Lead.
Support the Project Lead with technical input for status reporting and stakeholder updates.
