JOB PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this role is to support the US and UK Journals Editorial teams by providing accurate data management, reporting, and analytical support that facilitates informed decision-making and operational excellence. The role is responsible for maintaining key editorial databases, generating reports, ensuring data integrity, and delivering insights that support journal publishing activities.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with global stakeholders, maintain strong qualified relationships, uphold SAGE's values of transparency and integrity, and proactively demonstrate all SAGE core competencies. The role also requires the ability to troubleshoot issues, manage escalations effectively, and perform responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail under moderate supervision.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain and update various editorial data repositories, databases, and data cubes on a weekly basis.
Generate, validate,



and distribute reports associated with editorial and publishing operations.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, including:
Global Peer Review Database reports
Published Output and Submissions reports
Author Survey reports
Publisher reports
Journals Published reports
Impact Factor reports and related analytics
Support data mining, analysis, and reporting projects requiring extensive historical data collection and validation.
Prepare specialized reports, including Rejected and Republished Articles analyses and other business-critical datasets.
Ensure the Global Assignment List and related reports remain accurate, current, and aligned with operational requirements.
Data Quality & Analysis
Support usage, citation, and other publishing-related analytical projects.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of editorial data across databases and reports.
