Role & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnose acute/chronic medical conditions in adults.
Prescribe and manage pharmacological therapies, lifestyle interventions, and referrals based on clinical guidelines.
Perform routine procedures such as ECGs, BP monitoring, wound dressings, and minor surgical interventions.
Collaborate with specialists for multidisciplinary care and ensure smooth patient handoffs and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate, compliant EMR documentation and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Educate patients and caregivers on disease prevention, medication adherence, and health promotion strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
MD/DNB in Medicine (recognized by NMC)
Valid NMC registration
ACLS certification
Experience in outpatient/internal medicine practice
Proficiency in using EMR systems
Solid diagnostic acumen for common adult medical conditions
Preferred
Experience in diabetes, hypertension, or geriatric medicine management
Familiarity with teleconsultation platforms
Membership in qualified medical associations (e.g., IMA)
