Core Responsibilities

- Sourcing &
- Vendor Development: Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, hardware, and equipment based on technical specifications, price, and reliability.
- Technical Evaluation: Interpret engineering drawings and technical data to ensure procured parts strictly align with production requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and warranty agreements with vendors.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor vendor performance, conduct supplier audits, and resolve issues related to substandard materials or delayed deliveries.
- Inventory &
- Systems: Manage purchase orders (POs), track inventory levels, and update purchasing databases using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally).
- Planning &
- Coordination: Align with production, maintenance, and tool room departments to ensure materials are available in time for tight manufacturing deadlines
- Cost Optimization: Float RFQs,



perform techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Monitor material price trends and drive cost-reduction initiatives
- Sourcing &
- Procurement: Manage end-to-end purchasing of mechanical hardware, raw materials (SS, MS, Aluminium), cutting tools, inserts, and machine spares. Handle outsourcing activities like turning, milling, VMC, Press, citizen machining, grinding, and heat treatment.
- Experience: Typically 5+ years in technical procurement within a manufacturing, CNC, VMC, citizen, press m/c or project-based environment.
- Skills: Solid negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with deep knowledge of supply chain management and manufacturing processes
