Role Description This is a full-time, in office Engineer role based in Krishnagiri. The Engineer will work on the design, development, testing, and validation of automotive electronic components and systems, supporting projects across Napino’s product portfolio.

Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting technical specifications, preparing engineering documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D;, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain), and assisting in the resolution of product and process issues. The role involves participating in prototype builds, supporting production ramp-up, performing root-cause analysis,



and recommending design or process improvements. The Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electrical, electronics, or automotive engineering, including circuit design, embedded systems, and basic diagnostics.
- Experience with product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to testing, validation, and production support.
- Proficiency with engineering tools and software such as CAD/EDA tools, test instrumentation, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of automotive standards, quality systems, and reliability testing (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, ISO/TS standards) is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and prepare clear engineering documentation and reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant industry experience in automotive electronics is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Krishnagiri and support shop-floor activities, trials, and continuous improvement projects.
