Job: Mechanical Engineer (Full-time, On-site)
Location: Plant in Bhiwandi
Job summary
You will work at our plant doing machine assembly, testing, installations, and servicing. Your main tasks will be assembling mechanical parts, fitting pneumatic and hydraulic parts, doing electrical cabling, testing machines in the plant, installing machines at customer sites, and providing service and maintenance when needed. You will also help solve technical problems and work with other teams to finish projects on time.
Who should apply
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, or MTech.
- If you know about plastic processing, that is a plus.
Experience and skills we want
- Good at machine design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with manufacturing work and quality standards.
- Able to lead small teams and manage projects.
- Knowledge of plastic machines and automation is helpful.
- Can read CAD drawings.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear communication and organized work.
- Previous work in plastic machinery is preferred.
Key Responsibilities (KRA's)
- Production and plant work
- Assemble machines from start to finish and make sure parts fit correctly.
- Do daily production tasks or help technicians when needed.
- Meet production schedules and deliver machines on time.
- Be responsible for your own work and the work of your team.
2. Quality checks
- Check incoming parts and materials for correct dimensions.
- Approve or reject parts based on quality.
- Keep records of inspections and approvals.
3. Technical support and service
- Fix mechanical and assembly problems that come up.
- Do electrical wiring and test machines.
- Install and commission machines at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and do preventive maintenance at customer locations.
4. Safety and confidentiality
- Work under a non-disclosure agreement to keep company designs private.
- Follow safety rules and company policies.
- Keep company processes and designs confidential.
