Role Description The Electrical Engineer in Solar EPC will work on-site in Surat in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, installation, and commissioning of solar power systems.

Responsibilities include preparing electrical designs and single-line diagrams, sizing and selection of electrical equipment, and coordinating power distribution layouts for solar plants. The role involves conducting site assessments, supervising installation teams, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, and resolving technical issues during construction and testing. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, civil and mechanical teams, vendors, and clients to align electrical designs with project requirements, optimize system performance, and support documentation, reporting, and quality checks.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with solid understanding of Electricity and core electrical principles.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design for solar plants, including layout planning, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems, including cable routing, switchgear, transformers, and protection schemes.
- Working knowledge of Power Systems analysis, grid interconnection requirements, and relevant standards for solar EPC projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with solar PV technologies, inverters, balance of system components, and applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and prepare technical drawings, use design and simulation software (such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools), and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in office with cross-functional teams under project timelines.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with internal stakeholders, contractors, and clients.
- Prior experience in solar EPC projects or power infrastructure projects is an advantage.
