Role Description The Electrical Engineer (boat wiring) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The role involves designing and implementing electrical wiring systems for boats, including power distribution, control panels, and safety systems. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical schematics, selecting appropriate components and cables, routing and installing wiring, and ensuring compliance with marine electrical standards and safety regulations.

The engineer will perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, coordinate with mechanical and automation teams, and document all work for quality and regulatory purposes.



Collaboration with production staff and project managers to meet deadlines and customer requirements is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and practical knowledge of Electricity, particularly in marine or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including creating schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for boat electrical systems.
- Experience with Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load calculations, circuit protection, and grounding practices.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in wiring, installation, and testing.
- Familiarity with marine electrical standards, safety regulations, and best practices for harsh or corrosive environments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use basic electrical tools and test equipment, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced production setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
