Role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in EPLAN P8 and practical exposure to VFD systems, MCCs, PCCs and industrial LV control panels.

The role involves detailed electrical engineering for industrial drive and automation systems, including schematic development, component selection, panel engineering and manufacturing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical design and detailed engineering of VFD panels, MCCs, PCCs and LV control panels

Using EPLAN P8 -

Preparation of multi-line schematics, power circuit diagrams and control circuit diagrams

Development of panel layout drawings, terminal diagrams, cable diagrams and connection diagrams

Generation of terminal lists, cable lists, connection lists, device lists and BOMs from the EPLAN project

Use of EPLAN parts data, macros and standardised project templates

Engineering of VFD power and control interfaces with motors, PLCs,



remote I/O and field devices

Selection and sizing of electrical components including VFDs, MCCBs, contactors, protection devices, reactors, filters, braking components, cables and terminals

Review of customer specifications, electrical drawings and project requirements

Design updates based on engineering reviews, manufacturing feedback and project changes

Engineering support during panel manufacturing, testing and project execution

Required Skills

Hands-on project experience in EPLAN Electric P8 is mandatory

Solid understanding of VFD / variable speed drive systems, LV panel engineering MCC and PCC

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with drive systems from Siemens, ABB, Allen-Bradley or Yaskawa will be an advantage.
