We are starting a publication. I need one person to run it.
The AI CIO. A daily read for enterprise CIOs. Original reporting, not recycled press releases.
Think The Information, narrowed to a single reader: the person who has to decide what AI actually goes into a bank, an insurer, a hospital, a retailer, and then answer for it.
One editor runs the whole thing. Agents handle collection and monitoring. Lyzr's marketing team handles video, design and distribution. You handle the part the machines cannot: pick up the phone, ask the uncomfortable question, and have it written by morning.
Who I am looking for. Any one of these three:
→ A trade journalist with an enterprise IT beat. ETCIO, Express Computer, CIO&Leader;, Dataquest, CRN, AIM. Six to ten years in. You already have the contact list.
→ An analyst who is done writing 40 page reports. Everest, HFS, ISG, Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Zinnov. You speak to CIOs every week and you can write like a human.
→ Someone who built a niche B2B newsletter from zero and has the subscriber numbers to prove it.
Not the right fit: SEO writers, PR and comms folks, ghostwriters, agency copywriters. Wrong sport, nothing personal.
What you get: Editor in Chief title. Your name on the masthead. Editorial independence, in writing. ESOP. A production unit behind you from day one, not in month nine.
Bangalore. Full time.
