About the Role

I-Tech Media is looking for engineering graduates interested in building a career in technical journalism and B2B media. Editorial Trainees will research, write and develop content for our engineering magazines, news portals and digital platforms. No previous editorial or media experience is required. Selected candidates will receive guidance and practical training in technical writing, reporting, interviewing and digital publishing.

Responsibilities

- Research engineering technologies, products, projects and industry trends.
- Write news reports, technical articles, features, interviews and website content.
- Cover developments across manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, power, energy and related sectors.
- Interview engineers, industry experts, business leaders and technology professionals.
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, webinars, product launches and industry events.
- Convert technical information into clear and engaging editorial content.
- Edit press releases, contributed articles and other industry material.
- Verify facts, technical details, names, figures and company information.
- Develop content for print magazines, websites, newsletters, videos and social media.
- Coordinate with editors, designers and digital publishing teams.




- Meet editorial deadlines and follow the publication’s editorial standards.

Qualifications

- Graduate or final-year student in an engineering discipline.
- Candidates from Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related engineering streams will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Solid interest in research, writing, technology and current affairs.
- Ability to understand technical subjects and explain them in simple language.
- Curious, observant and willing to learn about different industries.
- Comfortable communicating with senior professionals and industry experts.
- Good online research and fact-checking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
- Willingness to travel locally for interviews, exhibitions and events.

Preferred Skills

- No previous experience is required. Fresh engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for research, writing and communication are encouraged to apply.
