Role Description The Early Childhood Coordinator is a full-time, in office role based in Ghaziabad. The coordinator oversees the early years program, ensuring developmentally appropriate curricula, learning activities, and classroom environments for young learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and supporting early childhood teachers, planning weekly and monthly learning themes, observing classrooms, and providing feedback to enhance teaching quality and child outcomes.
The role involves collaborating with school leadership on curriculum planning, organizing parent interactions and workshops, monitoring student progress, and maintaining documentation and assessments.
The coordinator also ensures adherence to safety, inclusion, and child protection guidelines, and promotes a nurturing, engaging, and values-driven early learning culture.
Qualifications
- Strong early childhood education expertise, including knowledge of child development, age-appropriate pedagogy, and play-based and activity-based learning methods.
- Curriculum planning and instructional design skills for early years, with the ability to integrate experiential and project-based learning aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Classroom observation, assessment, and documentation skills, including use of child progress reports, portfolios, and formative assessment tools.
- Teacher mentoring and leadership abilities, with experience in coaching educators, conducting training sessions, and facilitating reflective practice.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, engaging families, and building strong school–home partnerships.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate events, workshops, schedules, and program development activities.
- Commitment to inclusive education, child safety, and creating a supportive, culturally responsive, and non-discriminatory learning environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field; prior experience in coordinating or leading an early years program is highly desirable.
