About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-Invoicing Product Owner / Technical Product Owner to drive the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of global e-invoicing and digital tax compliance platforms. In this role, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Operations) and technical engineering teams, translating complex international regulatory mandates into actionable product roadmaps and user stories.





You will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling our Global E-Invoicing Centre of Expertise (COE), driving agile execution, vendor coordination, and seamless country rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Roadmap & Strategy: Define, prioritize, and maintain the multi-year global e-invoicing product vision, release roadmaps, and feature backlogs.
- Agile Product Delivery: Act as the dedicated Product Owner for engineering teams—authoring epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing sprint priorities in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Regulatory & Compliance Translation: Translate complex international tax mandates (e.g., Peppol, Continuous Transaction Controls / CTC, EU ViDA) into clear functional and technical product requirements.
- COE Scaling & Best Practices: Partner with architects and program leads to establish standard operating frameworks, rollout playbooks, and best practices across the Global E-Invoicing COE.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Global Tax, Finance, Accounts Payable (P2P), Accounts Receivable (O2C), and IT leadership to ensure alignment on delivery milestones and scope.
- Vendor & Platform Governance: Coordinate with external compliance service providers and platform vendors (e.g.,



Sovos, Pagero, SAP DRC, Tungsten) for feature delivery, SLAs, and technical enhancements.
- User Adoption & Enablement: Oversee UAT, cutover planning, business enablement, and operational transition for country-by-country go-lives.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 8+ years of total experience, including substantial experience as a Product Owner / Technical Product Manager leading enterprise financial systems, billing, or compliance platforms.
- Functional Domain: Strong working knowledge of core finance cycles: Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay / Invoice-to-Pay (P2P/I2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Technical & Integration Literacy: Solid understanding of SAP finance modules, API-driven workflows, EDI standards, and electronic invoice formats (XML, UBL, JSON).
- Agile Mastery: Proven track record in backlog grooming, user story definition, sprint planning, and release governance in multi-team enterprise environments.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills across business, technical, and executive groups.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on product experience with platforms such as SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) / eDocument, Sovos, Pagero, Avalara, or Tungsten Network.
- Strong domain exposure to Peppol networks, real-time clearance models (CTC), and emerging regulations like EU ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age).
- Relevant certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent.
