- Identify areas where new releases may unintentionally affect existing shop functionality.
- Maintain a clear QA approval process before changes move toward production.

Defect Management
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Include relevant screenshots or videos, browser/device information, environment details and expected versus actual behavior.
- Classify defects based on severity, priority and customer/business impact.
- Return identified issues to the responsible developer with actionable information.
- Retest completed fixes and confirm whether issues have been successfully resolved.
- Prevent unresolved critical issues from progressing through the release process.

Localization & • Market QA
- Validate localized storefront experiences across relevant Sportstech markets.

QA Automation & • AI-Assisted Testing
- Gradually introduce practical automated regression coverage for secure, repetitive and high-risk customer journeys.
- Use tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or comparable frameworks where automation provides meaningful value.
- Use AI tools to accelerate test-case creation, exploratory testing, edge-case identification and regression planning.
- Maintain human QA judgement as the final quality-control layer, particularly for UI/UX, customer experience and business-critical storefront behavior.

Candidate Profile
- 4–5+ years of hands-on web or e-commerce QA experience, preferably within a high-traffic e-commerce environment.
- Strong experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus or comparable modern e-commerce platforms.
- Strong manual functional and exploratory testing capabilities.
- Excellent attention to UI/UX consistency, responsive behavior, visual regressions and interaction quality.
- Experience testing complete e-commerce customer journeys, including PDP, cart, checkout, search, filters, promotions, variants and cross-selling.
- Strong cross-browser and cross-device testing experience.
- Experience creating structured test cases, regression suites and release checklists.
- Experience working with Wrike, Jira or comparable issue-management platforms.

The role should progressively reduce implementation issues reaching the business-review stage, strengthen regression coverage, improve release confidence and allow the development and e-commerce teams to operate with a more structured and scalable quality-control process.
