Role Description This is a full-time, on-site E-Commerce Executive (Shopify) role based in the Pune Division. The E-Commerce Executive will manage and optimize the Shopify storefront, including product listings, collections, pricing, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include monitoring site performance and analytics, coordinating promotions and campaigns with the sales and marketing teams, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from browsing to checkout. The role involves handling customer queries related to online orders, collaborating with account management and operations teams to maintain fulfillment timelines, and supporting efforts to drive online sales and improve conversion rates.



The E-Commerce Executive will also assist in merchandising, content updates, and testing new features to enhance the digital experience in line with Karuka’s brand and social impact goals.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret e-commerce metrics, user behavior, and sales reports for data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in Account Management, including handling online customer accounts, order workflows, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Sales and Sales Management to support online revenue growth, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Demonstrated Team Management abilities to collaborate effectively with marketing, operations, and artisan liaison teams.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (store setup, theme configuration, apps, product and inventory management).
- Knowledge of basic digital marketing concepts (SEO for product pages, email campaigns, social media coordination) is beneficial.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in e-commerce.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or handmade/arts and crafts sectors is an advantage.
