Firebird Institute of International Studies (FIIS), Coimbatore, is looking for a energetic, entrepreneurial and results-driven leader to head Admissions & Business Development for its 2026–27 Undergraduate International Pathway Programes.
This is not a conventional admissions role. We are looking for a business leader who can build the admissions engine, expand market reach, strengthen the consultant ecosystem, lead the admissions team, and take end-to-end ownership of the P&L; for a 200-student annual target.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing the admissions and business development strategy for students aspiring to pursue their undergraduate education in the UK and USA through FIIS's pathway model.
Students begin their programme at FIIS, Coimbatore,



and progress to universities in the UK or USA from the subsequent stage of their programme.

PROGRAMME MODELS
1. Standard Foundation Programme
A structured pathway designed to prepare students for progression to international undergraduate education.
2. Accelerated Foundation Programme
An intensive pathway for eligible students seeking a faster progression route.
3. Year One at FIIS – Coimbatore
Students complete their first year at FIIS and progress to the second year onwards at a partner university in the UK or USA, subject to programme and university requirements.
KEY MANDATE
The Head – Admissions & Business Development will own the complete admissions business for the 2026–27 pathway cycle, with an annual target of approximately 200 students.
The role will include:
- Develop and execute an aggressive 200-student admissions strategy.
- Own the P&L;, revenue, admissions pipeline and business performance of the pathway vertical.
