Zimbex Computers & CCTV is looking for CCTV Technicians to join our service and installation team in Thiruvananthapuram.
The technician will be responsible for CCTV installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer-site service.
Freshers with basic CCTV/electronics knowledge are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Installation and configuration of CCTV cameras
DVR/NVR installation and configuration
IP camera installation and setup
Cat6 cable laying, crimping and termination
Basic LAN/network configuration
Router and network switch configuration
Mobile app and remote CCTV viewing setup
CCTV troubleshooting and maintenance
Identifying and resolving camera, DVR/NVR and networking issues
Visiting customer locations for installation and service
Testing CCTV systems and ensuring proper functioning
Maintaining valuable communication and skilled behaviour with customers
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of CCTV systems
Understanding of networking and IP addresses
Knowledge of DVR/NVR systems
Basic computer hardware and networking knowledge is an advantage
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
Willingness to travel to customer locations
Good communication and customer-handling skills
