As our product range and presence across ecommerce marketplaces continue to grow, we are looking for a strong Cataloging Manager who can ensure that every product is presented accurately,
attractively and effectively across our digital sales channels.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-focused and commercially aware e-commerce Cataloging Manager to take ownership of product listings, catalogue quality, marketplace content and keyword optimisation across platforms including Amazon, Myntra and Nykaa.
At Little Surprise Box, cataloguing is not simply about uploading product information.
How a product is titled, described, categorised, tagged and visually presented directly affects whether customers discover it, understand it and ultimately purchase it.
You will work closely with the category, design, content and ecommerce teams to ensure every product is correctly listed, optimised for search and presented consistently across marketplaces.
This role is ideal for someone who combines excellent attention to detail with an understanding of marketplace search, content and customer behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Cataloguing and Listing Management
- Create, upload and manage product listings across Amazon Seller Central, Myntra Partner Portal,
Nykaa and other relevant marketplaces
- Ensure every product listing contains accurate titles, descriptions, bullet points, specifications, images,
pricing information and attributes
- Understand and follow the different catalogue structures, templates and requirements of each marketplace
- Manage bulk uploads, flat files, catalogue templates and large scale listing updates accurately
- Maintain strong catalogue hygiene across all platforms
- Identify and resolve suppressed listings, inactive listings, incorrect categories, missing attributes,
image errors and other catalogue issues
- Manage product variations including size, colour and other relevant options
- Create and maintain parent and child listing structures wherever applicable
- Ensure correct size charts, product specifications and category specific attributes are mapped to each
SKU
- Regularly audit existing listings to identify missing, outdated or inaccurate information
2. Marketplace SEO and Keyword Optimisation
- Conduct keyword research for products and categories to improve marketplace discoverability
- Identify relevant high intent search terms customers use when looking for products
- Optimise product titles, bullet points, descriptions, attributes and search terms using relevant keywords
- Understand the differences in search behaviour and optimisation requirements across Amazon,
Myntra, Nykaa and other marketplaces
- Conduct competitor listing analysis to identify opportunities for stronger product positioning and discoverability
- Review search visibility and listing performance and make improvements where required
- Continuously refine listings based on search trends, customer behaviour and performance data
- Stay informed about changes to marketplace search systems,
catalogue requirements and content best practices
3. Product Content Planning
- Plan complete content requirements for new product launches before listings go live
- Create clear content briefs covering product titles, descriptions, key features, specifications, images and marketplace requirements
- Coordinate with the design team for product images, lifestyle imagery, infographics, comparison charts and other listing assets
- Plan and coordinate A Plus Content, Enhanced Brand Content, Brand Story sections and other enhanced marketplace content wherever applicable
- Ensure product features and USPs are communicated clearly and accurately
- Maintain consistency in product naming, terminology, tone and information across marketplaces
- Review listing content from a customer's perspective to ensure products are easy to understand and evaluate
4. New Product Launch Readiness
- Prepare catalogue information and marketplace content ahead of new product launches
- Coordinate with category, design and operations teams to collect all required product information
- Ensure listings are created, approved and ready before planned launch dates
- Maintain launch trackers covering listing status, content requirements, images, approvals and pending issues
- Ensure important seasonal and festive collections are catalogue ready well before campaign and sale dates
5. Catalogue Quality and Accuracy
- Conduct regular catalogue audits across marketplaces
- Check product titles, descriptions, images, specifications, sizes, colours and attributes for accuracy
- Ensure products are listed under the correct categories and subcategories
- Identify duplicate listings and catalogue inconsistencies and coordinate their resolution
- Maintain accurate SKU mapping across internal records and marketplace listings
- Ensure catalogue information accurately represents the actual product and avoids misleading customer information
- Maintain organised master catalogue data for active products
6. Marketplace Coordination
- Coordinate with marketplace support teams, category managers and account managers for catalogue related issues
- Raise and follow up on support cases until issues are resolved
- Handle catalogue approvals, category mapping issues and listing corrections
- Coordinate category expansion and new catalogue requirements wherever required
- Stay updated with marketplace catalogue policies, image requirements and content standards
- Ensure listings remain compliant with platform requirements
7. Performance and Conversion Optimisation
- Understand that catalogue quality directly influences product discovery and conversion
- Monitor key listing performance indicators including impressions, clicks, CTR and conversion rate wherever data is available
- Identify products receiving traffic but showing weaker conversion and review their content for possible improvements
- Test and recommend improvements to titles, images, descriptions and product information based on performance
- Work with category and marketing teams to continuously improve the digital presentation of important products
8. Reporting and Catalogue Tracking
- Maintain clear trackers for catalogue status across marketplaces
- Track active listings, pending listings, suppressed listings, content gaps and unresolved catalogue issues
- Monitor listing quality and content compliance across platforms
- Maintain organised records of marketplace SKUs, product IDs, categories and listing status
- Prepare regular catalogue health updates for the category and leadership teams
- Highlight important issues that could affect product visibility, customer experience or sales
What We Are Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in ecommerce cataloging, marketplace listing management or ecommerce content operations
- Hands-on experience working with Amazon Seller Central and other marketplace seller or partner portals
- Experience with Myntra Partner Portal and Nykaa is strongly preferred
- Positive understanding of marketplace SEO, keyword research and product discoverability
- Experience managing flat files, bulk uploads, catalogue templates and attribute mapping
- Strong understanding of product titles, descriptions, bullet points and listing content
- Comfortable working with Excel and Google Sheets for catalogue and SKU data management
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even small catalogue errors
- Ability to manage a large number of SKUs while maintaining accuracy
- Good written English and the ability to present product information clearly and concisely
- Strong organisational and follow up skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with design, category, marketing and marketplace teams
- Comfortable working in a fast moving D2C environment where priorities can change quickly
- Experience in children's products, fashion, lifestyle, gifting or related ecommerce categories is an advantage
