We are looking for a skilled and detailoriented Draughtsman/Designer to join our Plant Engineering team. The role primarily involves the preparation and development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) using AutoCAD Plant 3D. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating accurate engineering drawings and documentation that support various phases of process and piping design projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Generating accurate engineering drawings and documentation that support various phases of process and piping design projects.
- Preparation of essential engineering deliverables such as Piping Line Lists, Tiein Point Lists, and other associated documents.
- Regular coordination and communication with both onsite and offshore project teams to ensure timely execution of project tasks and adherence to quality standards.
- Travel to client locations for gathering design inputs, site measurements, or clarifications necessary for completing design deliverables.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a reputed Polytechnic institute with a solid academic background is required.
- Exposure to creating Smart/Intelligent PIDs using software such as Aveva, COMOS, or SPPID will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to client locations for design inputs, site measurements, or clarifications as needed.
