Position : Draftsman / AutoCAD Operator

Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience

- Relevant experience as a CAD Operator / Draftsman, preferably in the civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or engineering consultancy sector.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and modifying 2D CAD drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, layouts, plans, and technical specifications.
- Experience in preparing drawings based on engineering inputs and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, modify, and update Civil/Structural CAD drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop detailed drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and other technical drawings as required.
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Project Engineers,



and other stakeholders for drawing requirements and revisions.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain updated drawing records.
- Ensure drawings are prepared within project timelines and required quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.
- Support the engineering/project team with drafting and drawing-related activities.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Positive knowledge of Civil Engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in infrastructure, industrial projects, construction, engineering consultancy, or inspection-related projects will be an added advantage.
