Role Description The Donor Relations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur, responsible for building, nurturing, and managing relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic institutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing donor communication strategies, coordinating annual giving campaigns, and maintaining accurate donor records and reports. The role involves collaborating with program teams to develop impact stories and proposals, organizing donor visits and events, and ensuring timely acknowledgments, updates, and stewardship activities.





The Donor Relations

Manager will monitor project progress related to funded initiatives, prepare periodic reports for donors, and support fundraising goals through proactive engagement and relationship management.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Donor Relations and Donor Management, with experience in cultivating, stewarding, and retaining donors.

- Knowledge of Annual Giving and Philanthropy, including campaign planning and understanding of fundraising best practices.

- Project Management abilities to coordinate donor-funded initiatives, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of commitments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Tamil or other regional languages is an advantage.

- Ability to work collaboratively with program, finance, and communications teams, and to interact confidently with donors and stakeholders.

- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with maintaining databases and preparing reports.

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Management, Communications, or a related field; prior experience in the nonprofit or social sector is preferred.
